CHILD AND BABY FIRST AID

This course has been designed to provide first aid training for staff caring for children and babies in the absence of their parents.
This is an Ofsted recognised course and certificate must be renewed every three years

Guided learning hours 12.

Course Content includes:-

Planning for first aid emergencies involving children and babies
Resuscitation of children and babies
Recovery Position
Treatment of bleeding and shock
Causes of unconsciousness
Burns and scalds, electric shock
Serious sudden illness
Bites and stings
Anaphylactic shock
Fractures, sprains and strains
