FIRST AID AT WORK
CERTIFICATED FOR THREE YEARS
This course is designed to meet the requirements of the "Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations" 1981. The course is certificated for three years upon successful completion usually completed within four days or 24 hours tuition time.

• Treatment of Shock
• Management of the Unconscious Casualty
• Contents of First Aid boxes and their use
• Purchasing First Aid Supplies
• Transport of Casualties
• Recognition of Illness
• Treatment of Minor Injuries to Bones .Muscles and Joints
• Treatment of Minor Injuries
• Treatment of Burns and Scalds
• Eye Irrigation
• Poisons
• Personal Hygiene in treating Wounds
(in reference to Hepatitis B and HIV with regard to First Aiders)
The course ends with assessments and successful candidates receive a "Nationally" recognised certificate valid for three years.
